Grand Opening Highland Village Pop Up Shop

You may have seen over on our social media channels, that we just launched a second location in Mississippi, in the Highland Village Shopping Center!

We were sooo excited to open our doors on December 1st!! If you haven’t visited this Pop Up shop location yet, come by and check out our new digs! (Oh, don’t worry - our Downtown Shop is still up and running, too!)

Hours and Location for Highland Village Pop Up Shop We’re located at 4500 I-55 North Frontage Road, Jackson, MS 39211 (in between Char and Pure Barre). Our hours are 12pm-5pm Monday-Friday

If you’re out and about this weekend looking for Christmas gifts, we’ve got you covered! Come shop our selection of greeting cards, gift wrap, gift tags, home goods, coasters, mugs, tea towels, weekly planners, calendars, tote bags, journals, art prints, original paintings by Kristen Ley, and more!! Are you throwing a holiday party? Come by and pick up some balloons, confetti, banner kits, push pop confetti, disco ball drink cups (yes, you read that correctly!)

Soft opening … Our team put so much love and energy into getting the new space ready for our big opening. Weekends filled with painting new artwork to embellish the walls, late nights assembling furniture, days spent unpacking inventory and framing new art prints, hours spent at flea markets etc… After 2 weeks preparation, we opened our doors with a soft-opening. Here's what the space looked like before...

And here's what it looked like a couple of weeks later when we opened our doors....

We were completely overwhelmed with all of the people who came to visit, sent flower bouquets, brought food, and delivered gifts!! We may have happy cried more than one time that day!! By 10:00am we were popping open a bottle of bubbles and toasting to this new chapter for Thimblepress.

Our Highland Village neighbors have greeted us with open arms, and we’re so thrilled to be here. Our soft opening coincided with Highland Village’s Holiday Open House, and we loved meeting new friends who stopped by to shop some goodies, greet us, and share a glass of wine!

One week later…our Grand Opening

For our GRAND OPENING, we decorated our shop from ceiling to floor (literally - with helium balloons and confetti).

We also made this DIY Pom Pom banner as our window display (check out instructions here to make your own!)

The Grand Opening party was magical! The night was spent celebrating with friends, family, and new comers. We clinked glasses, snacked on goodies, blaster our favorite tunes, put on our dance shoes, threw confetti in the air, and gave out awesome giveaway bags! We’re so thrilled about this new chapter and we can’t wait for YOU to come see us.

Our Highland Village Shop is open Monday - Friday 12:00PM - 5:00PM! Our Downtown Shop is open Monday - Friday 9:30AM - 5:30PM!
