Ginger Williams-Cook is teaching a fun holiday ornament workshop class at
Thimblepress' studio (113 N. State Street, Jackson, MS) on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, from 6:30-9pm. Join us for refreshments and a glass of Christmas cheer at 6:30 before the class begins at 7. Her work has been shown internationally and she had a brush with Internet fame after an image of her Golden Girls nesting dolls went viral overnight and appeared on an MSNBC segment two days later. She has since painted numerous pop icons and sells her work through an etsy shop. Ginger also paints portraits of people and pets on a commissioned basis. The simple guidelines will ensure your ornament will have its own style. All levels are welcome.
